Betrayed & hurt. Then I would go away all by myself to an isolated place for a few days to think things over. And if I still can't forgive her, then there's only one way out - divorce but only after I have exhausted all options. |

Can you spell D I V O R C E...can you say D I S L O Y A L T Y. Can you see yourself living in a one room apartment, buying frozen dinners that are cooked in a microwave and seeing your kids every other weekend at best? I hope the spouse takes the idiot who does this for everything they have an then some. In otherwords, total destruction of the unfaithful's life. |

hmm... well if I were married and my spouse admitted that they cheated on me with someone i knew.
it's plain and simple really.
See I'm a Scorpio, so I am afraid I would have to go out buy a shot gun and shoot both people for the fact being, I know I won't be able to forgive and forget so I would have to eliminate the problem. |

I'd get a divorce. Once a cheater, always a cheater...the fact that he/she would sleep with someone you know is even more disgusting. I'd stay calm and leave with my dignity in tact. He/she is probably not worth the freak out anyway. Good luck... |

At least she's telling the truth, I'll go on easy on her, but then I'll weep into tears. |

If they'd wanted to be together so badly, I'd let them go. But that also means that it is the end of my relationship with 'her' to my buddy/someone I know.
Life goes on from there... and perhaps I'd rather not get married at all for the rest of my life after hearing all sorts of crap from people's relationships and seeing the rise and fall of life itself. |

go to the "maury show" and have her take a lie detector test so you could uncover all of the details and make her feel embarassed |

Wow, it hurts...
However, there must be a reason for him/her to do it. Find out what it is and if it's something that he/she deserves another chance.
I would give him/her some credit for telling you the truth. At least he/she wanted to stop it. Otherwise, he/she would not have told you.
Everybody deserves a second chance as we are human and we all have weaknesses. If you have kids, you'd better be really careful for what you are deciding to do as it will affect your kids physically and mentally as well.
Think responsibly! |

I would move on. For me an affair says that the person was willing, not only to break the vow they made, but to engage in a consistant pattern of deception. Not to mention being cavalier with your emotions, and the humiliation of it being with someone you know. If it had been a one time thing I would have been willing to believe a moment of weakness may have been the culprit, but.............you have to live with that person. Can YOU get over it? Should you? |
