if your question is if it's okay to continues not being proud of being a Malaysian then my answer is yes of course it's okay.

In fact i can't think of anything to be proud of being a Malaysian. People say theyre proud of being a Malaysian because of the food or historical monuments?? lol obviously they havent had to face the issues that a very larfe portion of Malaysians have to face everyday.

I would be proud to be Malaysian if i could say, my country allows religious freedom for all, racial equality, a just legal system, independant media, democratic society etc. (the list goes on)

Belive me, i so really want to be proud of being a Malaysian but instead me like many others are forced to not even want to be Malaysians.

Sometimes dissent is the greatest form of patriotism, I cannot remember whose quote that is, but take a few seconds more to think about it - don't you agree?

Anyway you won't be the only one who will be MIA for periods of time, once I start Sept 17th with Maxis I will be busy most of the time - won't be on here during the day and may be so sick of the computer I will not log on at night. The weekends may be an exception then.
