You think you're tall? I'm 5'9...trust me you're short. I have no idea what image you have of Japan but Japanese people are NOT short. I was there and 8 out of 10 men were taller than me. Most of the women were around your height or a little taller or shorter. If I was in Japan and didn't feel weirdly tall, then a short girl like you shouldn't have a problem. |

are you kidding? 5'4" is NOT tall |

why would it look weird?are you saying that everyone in japan is shorter than you? |
|

?

That's silly. Yeah, Asian people are typically short than many other ethnic groups, but 5'5" is not that terribly tall. My husband is half Korean and he's 6'0"
Besides, even ifyou were 5'9" (which is a little on the tall side for a girl) it wouldn't make things difficult for you. They still make clothes over there to fit various body-types. and they don't make their doors midgit-sized or anything.
You'll be fine. Have fun. |

No just go and enjoy yourself. Remember never let other people judge you. The only person's judgment that matters is your own judgment. |

You'll be average height. You'll find many taller than you. Not a ton of 6 footers but many over 6 feet tall. |

No you are not too tall. In fact, you are barley tall enough to go on the rides at Disney Land!
How tall are your parents? |

Don't worry I don't think Japan government's acquiring height limit to people who wants to come here..coz that would be stupid.. |

5'4 huh. wow that's huge.... NOT!!!!!!
Your not tall, and if you actually were tall, that still wouldn't be any reason to not visit a country.
Stop being an insecure teenage girl.
Oh and if worst comes to worst you could just hang out with Godzilla. |

Why did you think you're too tall?
You're just an average Asian girl. I'm 5.5 feet tall too, and I think this is a cute size.
Your question is a bit funny and nonsense. I'm sorry saying that.
There is no height limit to get into Japan. Better be worry about something else such as how to communicate, how to travel? etc. |

I think 5'5 is neither too short nor too tall but a bit taller than average Japanese female.
If I dare to say, how much the weight?
If it is more than 130lbs, for average female of 5'5 in Japanese female would be considered to be chubby.
If more than 140lbs, curious people may look at you as if something wrong.
I think weight relative to the height would be much more sensitive rather than height itself there. |

I lived in Japan for ten years... married a Japanese girl... she was your height 20 years ago... and they are growing them taller everyday... you'll be fine... but don't go looking to buy shoes... it'll be difficult if you have a big foot.

No, you should go to Japan. You are not too tall, even though you may be taller than most. It will be okay. Don't miss out on a trip because of height! |
