If you have a strong belief and faith in the teachings of your own religion, of course you would believe that it is the only true one. As for me, I believe in just one true God who is called by many names because of differences in religion - God, Allah, and maybe other names that i haven't heard yet.
As for the others, the Buddhists, Taoists, the atheists, pagans and the like, I respect them. It just remains that i consider my belief to be the correct one, no disrespect intended. As for being close-minded, uhm, well, I am closed to the possibility that my God does not exist, again with due respect to dissenters. |

that why i never discuss about religion and races.. its a very sensitive issue to discuss.. well, everybody gonna say that their religion is the true religion and their races is the best of all.. c'mon who gonna say their neighbor's daughter is way hotter than their own daughter???

religion is belief, faith. they have their faith in certain religion and all (maybe not all lol) the teachings are true to them. i think it's just fine, as long as we don't insult other religion. we have no rights to criticize other religion (because we think ours are damn correct!). There's nothing to do with 3 criterias listed above. Don't brag, don't humiliate others. Very simple.

yes i know ur feeling.. they can sometimes talk hours about how good they religion ... but when u listen to it dont mind it at all.. instead, be happy for them for having a belief.. be happy they got a religion tat can teach them to be good... as for u, always respect others even ur not agree with them... :) |

no one is gonna know until theyre dead what is "right", no living person knows any more about the other side than anyone else. a person has to find something that feels right to them- deep inside. its great that people are passionate about their own faith, they well should be. but we all must decide for ourselves what path in life and death to follow. many times these people have the greatest of intentions, other times they are indeed close minded or even ignorant. but that will never change the fact that we stand alone in the end, and the choice is ours alone to make. |

I've met many times like that also. But i keep my mouth shut and respect what they think but the truth is not good, if they think their religion is the only true one they should respects other's decisions and other religions too. But seems like they blind though you have a nice religion but still you attitude is worst. Nobody can save us neither religion cannot save us but ourself, though religion is will lead us a better life and good way of life. |

They are believers. Its normal to backup your own religion as you already put all your effort and belief to that religion. So, i say we cant say they re selfish, close-minded or disrespectful, they just believers.
The only truth is, you do believe in God and doing good things not the bad. if i have religion A but im a rapist or murderer, do you think i hv the ticket to heaven? Hell no! |

However, all religions that teach goodness also teach tolerance.

Actually this people fail to see the "oneness of being" in every living creation that exist on earth. All religions were revealed for this purpose but it was later on that these religious authorities (Priests, Sheikhs etc)
that misuse their power and create stupid dogma in order to deny people's access to achieve and attain the feeling of oneness in everything that exist on earth...Remember, Everything is in god and God is everything you sense.It is just our alter ego that thinks everything including **** is not part of god. Everything is just a Maya or Illusion or the dream or of the one being.... |

with so many religions in the world it is absurd to think the God that is predominate in your geographical region is legitimate while all the other religions are wrong. what about the people who pass through life never knowing about your "real god", what happens to them? it seems pretty drastic to hold them accountable to a God they never knew about. all evidence points to men creating the gods and people defend what is taught to them by people they trust such as parents,teachers,and clergymen. they are simply arguing in favor of what they believe is right and it understandingly troubles them that their conception of god is no more real than the next |

Yes, it is true. They believe that they are in the correct religion, but there are a lot of false belief. Religion do not save no one.
Only through Jesus Christ, people will be save. It is necessary to be a son or daughter of God, and be born again in the spirit. (John 1:12-13). Then, we can say that we are save through Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God. The almighty.
