Hong Kong is a nice place - I've got lots of family that live out there.
Is it the *best* place in the world to live... that's your own preference. I find it a bit too crowded for my taste and I don't feel "at home" there because I'm just too American-ized.
But I do like the people... I like the shopping... I like the way it lights up at night. It's a beautiful city. |

From my perspective yes, I would rather be anywhere but here in the USA. But from your perspective you might rather be anywhere else but there. Also is there a problem going on there if so, I am so sorry. |

Maybe. Depending on your wealth... :)
And yes, you are a little more 'free' than Mainland China, and around more rich people.
But hell, you're in such a crowded area! I stayed there once and it was soooo crowded. But fun since I know Cantonese. |
