Nobody can peek in the future but I really think you will be safe there in Davao after all if you make true friends there they will come to protect you if you are in danger...well... that's may opinion... so you should make friends in Davao but you shouldn't trust everybody you just have met :)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

yes, i am from davao. it is actually the safest city in the philippines thanks to the most part to our mayor. He was once in Newsweek, they called him "the punisher" ever since he became mayor crime has been way down. although we don't offer as much malls or party places we offer some fresh air and nice beaches. |

Yes its safe to live in Davao City. The place is huge and great. The people are very warm and friendly. The hardworking Mayor is always in-charge of everything. However, when you are already there, avoid going to Muslim areas. Generally, our Muslim brothers are peace-loving and friendly. Its just, there are a few who are not. So, goodluck to your trip to Davao, I wish you a happy and contented living there.:) |

Hey!! Davao is one hell of a lot safer than Manila!! Considered as the safest place in mindanao, the southernmost 2nd to the largest Island in the Philippines. |
