Children should never be used for political means. They should be in school studying, not be a tool for the ministry.

I can just imagine the world politicians trembling with fear at the wave of pressure from 5 million schoolchildren in Malaysia.

If I had a kid in school, I would rather he sit this out until he knows the facts and can make his own decisions on what to do about this.

Note: I am against the conflict in Gaza, but this so called wave of pressure is rubbish.

Hishammuddin is doing this for his own political benefit, this action is unwise, teaching school children to protest, what would the kids be when they grow up? He is not fit to be an education minister, if he dare and have the balls, bring his own kids to Palestine, be a human shield or fight the jihad war, why should he drag those people who want peace for solution?

I think the Minister should step down as he has clearly shown himself unfit for the post. School children are not mature enough to grasp the concept of human right. To them it's about evil versus good, this will only encourage anti-semitism which just as bad as anti-Arab. Even worse, the Malay kids that take part in this protest may grow up to become muslim extremists.

Minister should solve home problems of school truancy, inculcate values like respect of parents, teachers elderly, other religions and culture and civic consciousness rather than let the children get involved in protests. Home problems in schools are not yet solved but want to get children who can't think for themselves to incite them into rebelliousness. What kind of Education Minister do we have? Parents should organise a protest and get the Minister removed!!!

Children should not be involved in this type of thing. They are easily influenced. Did they know that they are exposing kids to violence, extremism and terrorism? Its the same thing like letting your kids watch porn. Hishammudin said the kids will be exposed to this when they will be older. Have he no brain? Minister some more! How about kids watching porn? We can also use the excuse, "the kids will be exposed to porn when they are older". This guy is really something.

Children are sacred gifts from God. They should not use kids to protest when kids don't even know why they are protesting. Kids are NOT tools. They are NOT propagandas. Yes, protesting against the aggression is okay but using kids is NOT okay. We protest because we have a good understanding of why we are protesting. We protest because we FEEL that we NEED to protest. Does the kids feel the need like us? If so, then why didn't they protest like us long ago? About being dumped into the rubbish bin? About being kicked out by family members? About being adopted?

Give kids their right to live their innocent ways. They have only 18 years before they are able to say to themselves, I NEED to fight. I HAVE a right. I DISAGREE with the ways of the INTERNATIONAL community.

Its a question of education. Its also a question of the right of children to live a life without knowing hatred, greed, etc... because without knowing them, they can grow up living peaceful lives with others and hold on to the fading peace.

Haih...what can I say. I bet that none of his children is involved. Everybody knows that this is a protest of one man only whereas the other 5 million children and few hundred thousand teachers are just "menurut perintah".

I may join a protest, but I will disagree if my underage children are used. I wonder if the parents have any say on this.
