I couldnt agree more with you but we've been debating the same thing before and mind you, whatever we say in here, will somehow fell on deaf ears coz some people couldnt be bothered about other people's feeling.

Just ignore some of those irritating non related travel questions and if the questions or concerns, please do ask us here coz we will try to help you with our best!

It's partly Yahoo's fault as well, because if you ask any type of question about Malaysia 9 times out of 10 one will be directed to this section.

However, I agree with you that Religion and Politics has better places to be discussed rather than a travel section, but as Jedi mentioned when in Rome.

Just as long as any travel questions that pop up are answered to the best of one's ability then I cannot see any harm in asking other questions, just look around in other travel sections and you will find that the whole world is doing the same thing, not just in here :0)

Yes it is supposed to be travel section but how many travel related questions posted here everyday? We don't ignore travel question, we still answer them. If only travel questions posted here, this sections will be dead just like Dining Malaysia section.

On the R&S question, it was some moron fault. That guy keep on posting provoking Qs (actually that guy + his countless clones).

how is posting questions related to religions and politics embarrassing for you to read? you seem to contradict yourself to. are you a foreigner or are you a malaysian? and how exactly are these non-travel questions not respecting others? who are others? as far as i am concerned, we have a certain number of foreigners who are regulars in this section coming and join in the fun.

i agree that these religions and politics questions could be better placed elsewhere. but who on earth apart from malaysians know what is politics like in malaysia. who knows what is religion like in malaysia... if we wanted the right answers, we seek from the group who could give us just that. not an american who hardly heard of Malaysia to tell us Malaysia is the best islamic country they ever think of...

i agree with you ... please dear , if you have anything about travelling in malaysia ... do ask me ... it's my line ... i`m doing lot of activities all around the malaysia ... from hiking ( it has been 18 mountain that i have climbed ) , to jungle conservation , to raft at white water or even scuba diving .. and so on . we have lots of beautiful chorals here ...
