The decade of the 70's seems to be lots of fun (the disco era)...and the late 60's too (the height of student activism).

As far as noise pollution is concerned, I prefer to go back to the 60's where the only hard rock music were the songs of The Beatles, Rolling Stones and Elvis Presley.
When it comes to air pollution, the air we had at that time were not as polluted as today. The same with water pollution, Pasig River, in particular! Well, during that period, when you lift water lilies, you can easily get lots of shrimps and the schools of fish were so abundant then.

The best classic movies at that time were Gone with the Wind and Sound of Music.

I'd say that I would go back to early April of this year. I would have never gotten onto a plane to come back home to America.

Or, if I could go into the future, I'd go to the US Embassy in Manila and encourage them to speed up my gf's visa process.

The 80s when (I know I'll get slack for this comment!) the Philippines was one of the best countries in Asia, Filipinos were respected and patriotic, there was water in Paranaque 24/7, crimerate was low, beaches were unspoilt, not a Korean in sight and food was cheap!!

I am not really good with history but I would love to go back in time to keep Pres. Magsaysay from boarding the plane that led to his eventual death. I think he is one of the best president we had and things would have been a whole lot different if he didn't die an untimely death.

Either that or go back in time to keep Imelda Marcos, Erap, GMA from being conceived :)
