If your married to an American he will have to apply for a K3 Visa before you can go, or if your just planning to visit the you can apply for a tourist visa at the US Embassy in Manila. If your planning on living in the USA here is what will have to be done to get a K3 Visa:
He will need the following forms:
-I-130
-G-325a one for each of you
-Passport pictures two of each of you
-Copy of Certified copy of Marriage certificate NSO
-Proof of his US Citizenship
-filling fee
After completing the above he will send your package to the USCIS Office that is listed for your state.
OK, After you have filed the above form and have received notice that it has been received then he will need the following forms:
-I-129F
-G-325a one for each of you
-I-134
-Passport Pictures two of each of you
-Proof of his US Citizenship
-Copy of Certified copy of Marriage certificate NSO
After completing the above these will be sent to this address:
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services
P.O. Box 7218, Chicago, IL. 60680-7218
Now, your going to need to get busy as you will need the following BEFORE her interview to the US Embassy
-NSO Birth record
-NSO Marriage Certificate
-Philippine Passport
-CFO Certificate

Thats a start but its a long and tiring process to get your visa. The information from BillO above is most accurate and thorough. |

yes, but you still need to get a greencard. and citizenship isn't guaranteed, my friend is a foreigner and has been trying to get her citizenship for 8 years. |

Is that the only reason why you got married so you could go to the US? I hope you know you have to prove your love is real to the US embassy because the US had so many Americans get married to people from 3rd world country's and have them leave them once they where US citizens |

NO..
Even if married to an American you still have to go through the immigration process. If they find something in your past such as prior marriages in the Philippines that have not been annulled, or an arrest record, you have a disease like advanced TB or something as simple as to meeting your spouse through a mail order bride service you can be rejected.
Just being married to an America will allow you to come to the US. |

Yes it will ALLOW you to GO to America, BUT, you won't be an American. You have to take some test |

Yep, you'll get a green card. But you'll be tested by immigration to see if this is an actual marriage or a fake one just to let you get into America. |

Quite possibly. Hard for me to answer without knowing the details of your situation. I have a Dominican-American friend who married a man from DR and he still could not join her in the US until many years later, even though she is an American (born and raised). Good luck. |

It should be obvious if you're married. And if you have not "black marks " on your passport or on records , i believe you will be allowed to ANY COUNTRIES.
Good luck to your future |

With the issues that we are having with illegals, America is revising their policies and they will change some things. If you're in the US and have proven your love etc, and get married, you're a citizen. |

No.But with the right paperwork it might the United States are getting tougher on different countries and if they find out you married just too get a visa into the states they will imprison you until you are deported. |

Yes, but you'll still need to go through immigration red tape. Have your spouse contact the American Consulate to get the paperwork started for your visa. Be prepared, this process will take time and money, but hang in there, and you'll make it. |

Only if he submits the proper paperwork to INS. The American Citizen has to submit the petition. Just being married to an american will not get you there in itself. |
