If I want to rent a place located in or near to a lot of greenery in Singapore, where should I look?

I am an expat looking to rent or buy a place in or near to Singapore's greenest parts / rainforests. Where should I be looking? Thanks.

There are a few landed properties and condominiums opposite Bukit TImah Reserve and it is located near the central area. Another place you might want to consider is near/ opposite the sea/ beach. You can try fort road, meyer road or tanjong rhu all just opposite east coast park. There is also a new condominium, not sure if it is ready for occupation, at the mount faber.

Alternatively, a housing agent will be more than willing to help you. You can try flipping through the yellow page to look for a good and reliable real estate agency. Happy hunting.

thats an easy question. Bukit Timah is the place you are looking for.. theres a residential estate overlooking the hill which happens to be our nature reserve too... rest assured u will be surrounded by lush greenery and im sure ur weekends will be packed with activities at the nature reserve. u can go hiking, mountain biking, abseiling, rock climbing etc... all the best!

For lush greenery, somewhere within the vicinities of Bukit Timah Nature Reserve or the Botanic Gardens would be ideal. If you prefer spa forest and pond view, I would recommend areas around MacRitchie Reservoir. Please ring me @ (65)91767414 or email me at linachen91767414@yahoo.com for free profesional advice. Cheers!

Singapore is generally green. You can choose a place according to your other preferences too.Things like living in a quite or crowded areas, near work or near schools etc.Woodland is particularly chosen by expats however Bukit Timah is near the natural reserve park.
When you get to Singapore any registered realtor will be the one who can give u thae best answer. As a part of their job, they will show you different areas of the town and help you choose the best match for you.
My advice to you is not to rush.Take your time, visit different parts
of the town before renting or buying. And if you are buying, think twice about the neighborhood. You can always change the look of your house but are not able to change your neighbores.
Locals are not very sociable in here so you need to avoid the areas populalted with local community.
And goodluck with your huntings.

The greenest parts would be nearer to the Woodlands community. In fact thats also where the Singapore Zoo is, if you notice that around the more central areas/ east and west included, most places already have alot of developement going on, but up north its still pretty green. On your trip down to singapore, drive around near to the Bandai road area, you will get a nice view of the lushest greenest parts of singapore.

Its also because its one of the furthest areas in singapore from the city centre so developement is slow there. :) But singapore being not very big in size, its easy to get from one side to the other as the transportation system is pretty good.. and if u drive, all the better.
