of different colors of different sounds whatever the shade sure will create a tone inbound.
in music red is for the king and queen of hearts
blue is for the old songs with a corny sound
white is the sound of silence
and black is for the rock which our parents call a noise. |

blue makes sounds like wind or a body of water, red would crackle with energy like fire, yellow would buzz because it's yellow... |

Blue would make a white noise, like when you get water in your ear, and red would make a jackhammer-like sound, only softer. |

As light can be described as both a wave and a particle, it isn't too far of a jump to think of light as a translation of sound. Since the bottom of the visible spectrum is based on lower frequency (red), and the higher end is based on higher frequencies (violet), I imagine the transition from red to violet would be from a low hum to a high-pitched whine.
Anything below visible spectrum would be too low for the ear to register, and conversely UV and higher would be either painfully high or too high to actually hear with the human ear.
At least, this is how I bend physics to make this work. Realistically it's not too far off... it just requires some kind of medium that would actually translate one wave form into another: from light to sound, ro vice-versa. |

blue is gloomy and down |

if this is for like a poem or something then just do something like the following: blue makes the sound of the waves crashing, blue makes no sound because it is silent like the sky (water and sky are blue). so basically base the sound of blue off of blue objects' noises |

Pink would be like a knife hitting a wine glass.
It would just be like onomatopoeia. |

There are people who hear as they see things - they have problems with sensory integration. But each person with that condition seems to have individual, different connections. One may see navy blue and get trumpet tones, another looking at the same color hears running water. |

this is not a stupid question.
I once read a news article that says blind people can actually hear colors. Those sensitive enough to hear them can actually tell what color they're touching. Reds have high pitched sound while the color blue have this humming sound. |

i like these type of questions. makes me think why i went to college at all.
edit: if colors were meant to make a sound, we'l hear it, not guess it. |

Red would sound like s dude getting his head sliced off with a ninja sword! Actually red would sound like the sound of that guys blood splattering against the wall.
Blue would sound like waves breaking against the shore.... the shore that the guy that just had his head chopped off is laying on bleeding... making a scene and sht.. pissing tourists off |
