If Filipino People were rich enough to enjoy life, no reason to marry an old man/woman.
Some women use Marriage as gateway to go abroad.

I think it's not proper to single out Filipinas in this issue.

Indeed, some women do that. But not just Filipinas.

As far as I know, Filipinas are loving partners. Very caring. Very affectionate.

I guess I am an "old, wrinkled, man" dating a younger Filipina. She loves me deeply, and I love her. I am not "rich", even by Philippine standards. Money is not why she loves me. She is 35, was abused by her first husband, and has five children that she supports - she has never asked me for money. In fact, when I offered money to her family back in The Philippines, she told me that "she was doing fine" with her income. SOME Filipinas are looking for a way out by seeking an older foreigner, but not all.

To answer your question: "yes and no", since some Filipinas are only after money from older foreigners, but I suspect these women would be marrying a Filipino for his money just as likely. And - that pinoy might also be "old, wrinkled, man".

In fact, not only Filipinas, women of low morale all over the world. Remember Anna Nicole Smith? It's like human nature, a woman's nature, to hook up with a more powerful man or the "alpha male", isn't it? The most powerful they could get to make their life easier. Monica Lewinsky, just to name a few. It's actually more rampant in the States than here, not only do they hook up with rich men to get them out of poverty, they even sell themselves too. Based on my observation, if you talk about porn it's always white women doing that thing, look everywhere and more white women resort to w*ship than any other race in this world. And I don't know why they look down on Filipinas just cuz they are made-to-order brides... at least they resort to marraige than porn. So I think by far Filipinas are still conservative, our w* are more reserved than others'. Somewhere along the streets of Ermita are those who still dream of becoming married one day despite of their situation. To eventually end up with some rich old man to ease out their poverty.

Just a thought on the issue.

The answer would be yes but not as many. If the two love each other than age or wrinkles would not play a part in the marriage.
I presume that you mean foreigners if so, I would like to point out that a lot of these old, wrinkled men, by marrying a Filipina, are also helping to feed, support and educate many a Filipino.

Well, it all depends. If the filipino man is a good person,yes of course there will be no need to look elswhere.

I am not an old man, I am healthy, financially stable and I can find a woman anywhere around the world to be my Love interest.
I have chosen a filipina woman over different potential lovers because the filipina individual had the qualities of a lifetime partner over the American, Pakistani and Latina woman that once had my interest.

My filipina wife and I are very happy to be together.
We are very much in IN LOVE and the love is very real.

Good question, sadly some of these filipinas are gold diggers and they would prefer the old wrinkled men in exchange to easy money instead of giving themselves some vaue and respect from other people. I'm a filipina and thank god I don't have that mentallity.

Lets put it the other way around, why do old, wrinkled men prefer a low IQ, low mannered "feel so good and good looking" filipinas? Aber?

marriage is not about money or looks... it a commitment to your partner and to god. what up with the money and age? love do not look at this aspects when you commit to a lifetime relationship.
