I think you could live fairly well in Bangkok for about $1,000.00 a month, of course, for more money you could live a more extravagant lifestyle. If you hit the bars a lot and require female companionship that could easily double or triple your monthly expenditure. And if you get a girlfriend or wife, you better get a job! |

Put your 50k with my 30k and see how far we get? No, seriously, you'd be better off getting a job too, life would get too boring and you can't party all your life, money soon goes x |

50k, in what currency. If it were Thai Baht, it would last you just a few months, if it were Pounds Sterling you would currently have about 70 times as much. However, you would have to take into account the added cost of the extended visas that you would need to be able to stay there (or the cost of doing the monthly 'visa run' and staying out of the country for 24 hrs at a time). |

Marry a Thai woman, buy her a house or 2 with this money and she will cook, clean and wash for you for the rest of your life.
Deal or No deal ?? |

Should be able to live comfortably for a couple of years, provided you are living in the countryside. In the city, expect to halve your stay. |

if you mean oounds then forever! However there are strict visa requirments so 3 months is the usual max. You can cross the border to a neighbouring country get the passport restamped and get a few more months. I think there is a limit to the number of times you can do that or i'd be out for good. |

Not long - you'd never get a visa. However, Cambodia has a much easier visa system. |
