You may say it right away that there's nothing to lose if you give your true name in the virtual world, but you must be aware that some of the people using the virtual world are capable of hacking to personal information.

Like you just did, some may now be trying to find if you have credit card, ATMs, or even locating you so they could blackmail you.

You may say this is being paranoid, but you just cannot be sure about the dangers the virtual - even the REAL - worlds hold.

even if i tell my true name, no one would believe. I 'm not Jun Lozada, making statements many would believe even with no evidences.
and yes, i have told my true name in the "virtual world".
however, in my experience, even if i told someone my name, personally, they did not believed me until they see my ID's.
