The worst complaint you can ever get from customers is when you never get to see them again at all.
That means a big NO to the question.
People don't complain for reasons that;
1. they think it's not worth it meaning bye bye. even those survey forms to solicit feedback many customers doesn't care to write their opinion
2. waste of time meaning the customer doesn't value you as a service provider. what for? I was once guilty many years ago when I wrote a very nice feedback to a worst hotel from one of the survey form. I wrote that they have a very impressive service & all. Guest what they're no longer in the business.
3. "don't want to embarrass myself. my poise is far more important than your product & service."
4. "don't know what to do"
5. shy type
Because of these reasons many businesses these days hired mystery shoppers. These are people who pretends to shop and actually buys certain items or dine in a restaurant or whatever service/product they have. These mystery shoppers actually have set of questions prepared to ask and the service provider like the waiter, sales assistant will be scored at the end of the service. To know more about this try to google mystery shoppers or click the link hereunder.....

Employees knows that anytime they will be servicing a mystery shopper in other words they need to service efficiently and effectively. The employee's performance in the mystery shopper score sheet will be used in reference to salary grade promotion or career promotion. These mystery shoppers are employed from an agency hired by the company like security guards. They come any day anytime unnoticed.
Do know if Phils have mystery shoppers these days that's the reason of the lengthy reply. |

Not at all. I dont complain. I would even smile back at them. I am not in disguise those times...I just dont like that kind of confrontation.
If I'm not satisfied with their product, then I'm not coming back to their place. |

it is said that 97 % of dissatisfied customers do not complain, they just don't buy or dig your stuff any longer, and worst, tell it to their friends which are potential clients. That time, one has to close shop. |

No, not at all.... it could also mean that the customer doesn't wish to complain & cause a scene |

sometimes i do, sometimes i don't. It depends on my mood If i feel like complaining. But usually if im not satisfied with the product I will just accept it as lesson learned and dont ever come back and I'll also tell everybody I know how bad they are. |

*One couldn't complain before the product is being tested for use.
*One shouldn't confuse between product and service as these are two different meanings.
If the product is good but the service sucks, I guess the Employer/Owner of the business can have it for themselves. |

By law, silence means Yes.
Either that, or the product already wasted the customer before he could complain. |

No, it doesn't. I don't complain too often when my purchase isn't what it said it was. Only in extreme cases when the apparatus does not function then I go and complain. Get my money's worth, you know. Anyway, we are protected - we should use our consumer's right if we paid for a defective item. We have 7 days to return/exchange the item. |

yep, they usually do. But some (especially shy people) they will not complain right away but at home (or with friends) they will. |
