I have done it before but the pic was full of flying hair lol. I'm too shy to post my pic on the net (haha). My looks are very close to my avatar anyway so I'm already so fine with that.

as to imperfections, arggghhhh..... the trick is to make your face as small as possible.

I have done it a couple of times but I wasn't all by myself. I had my granddaughter with me. Never mind, I'll upload solo pictures and use one for my avatar. lol

Nope I get freaked out doing that, because a few friends of mine had bad experiences with people taking their pictures and pretending to be them...

So I probably wouldn't.

The Yahoo avatars from Y! 360 are resized to fit a certain size hence the image resolution is reduced so slight imperfections are not visible at all. If there are huge imperfections in an image, or if there are other people in the pics which I don't have their permission, I restore teh image and crop or blur out other people's faces with Adobe Photoshop CS.

I've previously used my own pics but the pics often doesn't show a whole part of my face and some are not like an ID picture that you can easily remember face features.

So what, if someone here knows about me? I'm doing good things here for good intentions. For those people who opt not to post their own picture its their prerogative. Some may not just be too confident/comfortable to show it for whatever reason they have. This is not all about who's being perfect or otherwise.

i already did, just crop and post; but my other pic is clearer. i'd like to edit them though but i don't have any photoshop software. adobe photoshop is so expensive!
