if there is a war, horse manure is very useful, by placing them at the tip of punji stick,(pointed bamboos set in rows or burrows as a trap) to inflict wounds to U.S. troops and her allies during the Vietnam war. Although other manures would do, HS is so much horrible that gangrene and Tetanus readily infect the victims.
But for fertilizing fields, no, the consequences of using it would do more harm on the farmers. And if I have no option to decline that HS, i would have to construct a bio gas digester so that this HS would be processed there and converted to methane for fuel. Environment friendly than by burning them.

Sh_t, pay me a truck load of horse sh_t for a day's work and I'll make a business out of it.

I'll bag the manures (would have to hire some people loitering in front of Lowes) and sell it at garden centers and probably Lowe's too and then support the organic food ads. Make a hype about it and I'll be rich.
