hmm these kind of things are (rather) unpredictable, e.g. my neighbor just planned to have 2-3 kids, but during the second pregnancy they've got triplets!
So since their 1st born is a daughter,
AND the triplets are all daughters as well,
thus they thought hey why not try for a son,
4th - also daughter,
eventually the 5th - son.

For me, since marriage never really registered into my mind but I've often thought of adoptions because I'm fond of kids. When the time comes, I'll know :). If I'm financially well off I would like to adopt 3-5.

I've been married for almost a year. My husband and I don't have any kids and don't plan to have any in the near future. We both want stable careers first.

We have three. It's a very nice number, although we had originally planned for one or two more. It's nice to plan ahead, but best to play it by ear and see how your life is going before adding to the family.

Currently I have only 1 child but I intend to have 4 as I feel it's the most ideal family size. But my wife, getting used to having big family, wants 8 children. IDK, maybe we'll end up having 12 (a football team with 1 substitute).

Truthfully, I don't plan to have kids at all but my boyfriend does. But you'll never know right, maybe I end up like my parents who gave birth to 7 children.

It all depends on what you are ready for. You have to think about everything. Kids are expensive. But I want two or three. Definitely one and than a sibling and hopefully a third.

the more the merrier...=) i love big family. used to set my mind to 3 but..personally i think odd number is not good..
