as lone as i have the ability to walk up to the TV i will watch it , with or without a remote.

Chalkbrd
Yes, because I have appendages called legs and fingers -- and they were invented long before remotes.

jongbong
zzz... only if i'm stuck with the aquarium channel! hmmm... fish... zzz...

luosechi 駱士基
Well, I have an old Taiwanese TV and the remote on it went out a long time ago (did you ever notice that the remote is the first thing to break?) so have to turn it on manually, but use the remote on the satellite box. If that goes, I have to hunt around because the labels are in Chinese. Big trouble. But yes, I'd get up and do that.

Yes, except that my daughter or my wife might leave the TV room when I ask them to switch the channels manually quite often. I do not want to have a mini-revolt in the house so maybe I should just immediately buy another remote (or another TV and remote) to keep the peace at home.

i always do this when remote's gone.

move closer and use my feet in clicking. lol!

knowssignlanguage
yes it is called get up and change the channels

nascar24
yeah because my direct tv box.. has a changer and i will change it from there. so ha got u good.

Bail out BS
My God, I have more than 200 channels on my satellite TV and I would go crazy switching from one channel to another without remote control. Oh my, that would be torture of a different kind. Do you know how many times I flip channels?

butterfliesRfree
Most definitely --- oh...and btw -- if you have teenagers and you can't find your remote, it is most definitely under the couch cushion -- ha ha (experience)

peaches6
Yes I would. I'm not too lazy to get up & change the channel manually. That's how couch potatoes get so fat. They don't want to get up off their butts.

I'd just watch one channel which seems interesting
too lazy

yeeeeeeeeeeeesss! i'll have it tuned to "Dubai One" and i can watch all day. This channels has the biggest soaps and newest shows in GCC

and i may occasionally rise to switch the channel to GMA TV =)

Yes!

You know that in a dark, distant time when dinosaurs roamed the earth TVs didn't have remotes!

Yes, shock horror...
no remotes.

And people actually had to raise up off their couches and turn the dial on the TV to get another station or to change the volume.

Now I am really showing my age - I can remember TVs without remotes and dials instead of buttons - Call the old folks home...

zykoe1208
yes i do.. i wudn't want to miss my favorite tv show...

Juan C
yeah... get a long stick and use it for pressing the buttons in the TV, if you want to change the volumes/channels...

suburbannoize065
it is a known fact people would rather get up and search for the remote, rather then turning the channel manually. haha. but yeah i would still watch but i would hate it having to get up and switch the channel.

deceased.daddy
Yes.

Michellelynn
Noope. One time i lost my remote for like two weeks and i never watched it..

it was weird O__O

then..ironically, it ended up breaking so now im stuck with no tv..
:(

inner_beauty
of course... why? because i'm capable of doing so even without the remote control.

Binibini
yes, but when it's time to change the channel will be really upset.

but right now all my TV is in their boxes because i don't want TV so i can just study. i only watch CNN news on my husband's home office when he's home.

Angel of Answers
why not, i dont know why you cant get up and change the channel manualy..

Anthony V
Yes, i'l just move my sofa nearer to the tv so changing channels will be easy

If I need to see some important program, I guess I have to find a way to watch even without the remote control otherwise, I will have to sacrifice a day without watching shows on the telly.

Michelle C
No probably not I would keep looking for it. I have DVR and hate watching live TV now because of that.

I would still watch of course, especially if my team is playing. i wouldn't be changing channels anyway.

But I probably wouldn’t lose my remote control for I have a remote control locator. I just hope I don’t lose the remote control locator, for I don’t have a remote control locator locator.

*georgina_w*
yes, definitely, because you don't really need a remote to control the tv.... it just makes ur life easier and has more buttons

~ Lucky Piglet ~
I'd still watch Tv. I havent became that lazy like the rest of the world...no offense anyone. But actually one of my TV remotes just broke so i get up to change the channel of volume. But i dont watch TV until the new seasons come on. Im a BIG CSI fan. But my favorite show was Sex and The City. Cant go a day without it..I just think that America has become so lazy...thank god Nitendo Wii. Now kids can get up and interact w/ the games.

SCOTT L
I would still watch T.V. but just not as often though, mostly because you have to keep pressing those buttons on the T.V.

I know i'm in a minority but I don't own a TV . I prefer to talk to intelegent people via the net.

Your reading this so do you agree?
