Davao, i feel safe there than most philippine cities. Then it is a combination of both urban and rural feel. Moutains and beaches are just a couple of minutes away from the city. |

If i'm moneyed, I want to buy a property in Atok, Benguet like a farm-land (with cabbage, carrots, brocolli, beans, etc) and a nice wooden house atop a hill overlooking my vegetable farm.
I want to retire in there. Atok is much higher than Baguio City (elevation-wise), so it is colder there and no pollution. That town got the the highest elevation (from sea level) of all municipalities in the Philippines. |

I plan to move to Bacolod from Iloilo next year.
The city is cleaner and much more organised and rarely has brownouts. Plus there is a beach resort with I subdivision I am dying to move into. www.palmas-del-mar.com |

I fully agree with Aguadulce. My favorite place is Tagaytay city (that's why I live there :-) Beautiful view, not overcrowded - except weekends, 10 minutes walk to the shopping center, 2 palengkes near, medical center 15 minutes walk, and only 60kM from the big city. Now they're building an SM mall here. ~~~ 'Nuff said. |

i would say my hometown: mangaldan, pangasinan. 15 minutes away from dagupan city. life is simple there. you don't have to earn a lot to survive. and people are friendly just like how filipinos in general are. if you want a simple life, province is the best place. |

I'd live in my hometown.... Pangasinan........ because that's the the place where I grew up..... and I just love it there because of the beaches, places, people, etc.......................
If I could buy another house as a vacation house............... I would buy properties in Tagaytay/Baguio, Cebu, or Palawan................ Tagaytay or Baguio because it's kinda cold there, and has natural wonders and beautiful places, etc..... OR Cebu because I love the beaches, and nice modern sights, etc..... OR in Palawan..... beautiful places, nice beaches, lots of adventures, gorgeous exotic sights, etc.....
If I could have another house for businesses, or civilized area..... I would go to Manila...... civilized, modernized, lots of great shopping malls, nice places, country's top melting pot, etc................ |

If you want a quiet place to live in, try Baguio or Tagaytay or you can check some provinces in Vizayas but if you are used in partying and going out, Manila, Quezon City, or Makati were some of the best choices. |

if i had that choice, i would decline. |

I changed my mind. I won't settle down in Orion, Bataan.
I'll go to Tagaytay, too. Close to Ms. AquaDulce and Sir Bopols. I've already told my lawyer to make arrangements. |

Baguio. Always has been beautiful, and the weather needs no description. The one place in the Philippines where you can somewhat experience the "seasons".
Not as nature oriented as it used to be, but the beauty of that is you don't have to travel outside of the city to shop at an SM! |

Next to 'Blow Road' so I can get twin women for 20 bucks. It sucks that Clark AFB closed down. Me sad. |

For me it will be Tagaytay City! I just love that place...idyllic lifestyle; all the modern conveniences without the hustle bustle of big city life; ideal climate - cool temp almost all year long; awesome vistas; and the locals are so friendly, neighborly and helpful -still unaffected by the anonymity of urban living. Oh yes, that's where I'm gonna build my ideal home...my retirement home really! |
