Well, I'm one of them 'cause my beau is a European but if I see one then at least I can say I'm normal just like any other couples in the other side of the world. They have to deal with it.

Well, i am a filipina and i have seen many filipina's having foreign guys.
i would notice them but i really wouldn't react much..
not much much of a big deal. as long as you love them and they love you back. that's all that matters to me.

i DO agree with sanmigs. is there a reason for us to react? we are not isolated anyway. so i think it's just normal. i would just react if they were both guys or girls. lol

There seems to be a lot of people with hang ups about mixed race marriages, I cannot understand why, surely if two people are in love then where does race colour or creed come into the equasion, they happen in every country on earth, and always will, and power to them, asking people 'how they react' I think is tantramount to asking 'are you a racist' now you would not ask that of people would you?

No big deal, nothing, nada, zero. They are just like everyone other couple who meet and fell in love. They are normal people who happened to share the same feelings for each other and the only difference is that they come from different cultures and country.

I would be proud because foreigners love to be with Filipinos. And many Filipinos were married to foreigners so means these foreigner love to be with them and easy to get along with.

Um, I don't understand why you would need to react. Its just a normal thing.

There is no rule stating everyone must date within their race, or did I miss something? As a matter of fact I think it would be boring to date someone from the same race/culture as I am.

Consider that we take on expense embarrassment and some hard feelings at home. Just to travel halfway around the world. Trying to find a girl with honor morals and self respect as well as caring loving personality.
All served with a dash of graditude and loyality.
Things American women are forgetting everyday. Still they are beautiful too.
I love my Philippino wife. I don't really care if anyone likes it or not.

I've already been on the "foreigner" end of that scenario. I can tell you that 50% of the filipinos have some disgusting nasty comments to make to my wife and the other 50% don't seem to care. I avoid going with her in public for this very reason. Thank you for making me feel so welcome in your country.

i used to think that filipinas or pilippinos only married them cuz they wanna go here in america or whatever country they came from cuz u know how philippines is now ..ppl r in debt,no food,etc...but now its kinda normal for me now since i see it a lot nd i think they r doin that especially if they dont even love the foreigner they r wit is so they could get out of being poor nd help ur family soo they wouldnt suffer......nd if that filipina or filipino does love that foreigner which is like my aunt but no she came here in america by herself nd later met the white dude-not tryin to be racist or anything-then that is better!!so they can hav a happy life!!yay pilipinos!!!!^^hehehe....

Bargirl! Kidding only sometimes when its obviously apparent that she is. Anyhow I personally don't see anything wrong with it. Things like this is an expected part of change since more and more people around the globe are finding out that the Philippines and that filipino's in general are really really nice people who have some really great qualities that are harder to find in the western world. Its part of the future when the two of best worlds come together and make something good out of it.
