Many chinese people can say hello in english,,and goodbye...it is not uncommon for me to walk down the street and hear many people say"hello"....Hello in chinese is " Ni Hao"..(knee how). |

"Hello" works for me, probably because it is English. There's not much point saying "bonjour". |
|

hi

uh hello? Is there any other way than saying hello in english? just say HELLO! Unless you mean how to say the chinese hello which would be : ni hao |

Is that a rhetorical question?
Are you saying how CAN we say it when we're Chinese? Can we not speek Engrish?
Anyways, when I greet some Chinese friends (from Hong Kong) I say "Ha-Lo" (because it's funny to make fun of your own supposed "accent"...like saying "eh?"), but on the phone I say it normally (American that is...not British) |

You can say:"hello",or you may say:''long time no see'' for a long time not meet your friend. But if you know chinese ,you can say:''吃了吗?''this means "Have you have meal yet?'' |

"haaaaaa-low" is how most Chinese people 'round my parts say it. It can get a little obnoxious. |
