I wish I could get to the Philippines for free. I just paid 1300,00 us$ for a round trip ( 6 month) to go there. It will be my second time to travel there. I built a beautiful house there, still working on and some day hope to stay forever. The Philippines is a great melting pot for all races. Unlike America, if you need government assistance, you'll receive help for the Phil government. Good luck trying to get help from the American embassy, you'll be treated like _hit form them.
They (Phil) don't let their dead lye in streets for weeks, they send help out for distasters ASAP...unlike Katerina victims.
You still have creativity rights in the Phil. you can voice your frustrations out loud if you like, try that in the USA. And sea food, rice, and fruits etc are the best. Rent is affordable and satellite cable reception for 150 channels cost about 10 dollars or less.same with electric. You might purchase a condo for 400 a month, but hey don't let me tell you all the secrets...you just have to chance it. IT was the best move I've ever made. The people still have true hearts.....not so cold as here.Hope to buy you some Basi someday. |

a very commendable thing you're doing. what our country needs are the following:
1) people like you who truly care.
2) intense and sustained promotional/marketing/advertising campaign to both domestic and international travelers.
3) improve the tourism programs (e.g. tie up with airlines)
4) improve/more infrastructure (can't go to beautiful sights if no road, ports)
5) improve tourism facilities (especially in far flung areas)
6) globalize service standards (we have to cope with trends, demands of intl. travelers)
7) professional tourism leaders, not political appointees (pweh!)
given the chance, free or not, to see the whole country? HELL YEAH! |
