Get my wife the operation she needs, buy a land and house so that she will have someplace to live when I die....(I am a little older, enough that I am sure I will go first if she has her operation)...I will put 1 million in the bank so she can live off the interest.

Then the rest would be used for those who need help and really can not get it anywhere else....

for me, i'll buy a new car (crv version 1) second hand and hire a driver for my mom and dad. hire a maid to help clean the house and accompany them on their daily routine. buy a town house and enroll them in fitness first for their p.t. session. So i guess i would be spending some 10m for them. and another 10m for me and my wife's house. Then invest 100m on agriculture business so that i can have a place to go to during weekend at the same time earn some income. 20m for my kapatid and the rest on my business.

great idea Toshi... mine -- I'll put the half in the bank... I'll give my 10% to the church... half of the rest will be distributed to my relatives and friends that are in-need, and some foundations that give help to the poor (in the Philippines)... the rest will be for my family's needs (such as college fund, own house and lot, business, recreations, etc...)

If I won in the lottery, I would divide the money and invest them in different fields. If my money now earns interest, I would start a business that would earn profit in which I would use to buy whatever I want.

1. Build a simple house for my family. Right now, we are still renting;

2. Buy a franchise of (a food chain or a Generic pharmacy);

3. Build a chapel in our community or barangay ( right now our regular mass is celebrated at the Barangay plaza);

4. Visit Phil. General Hospital ( Find out who are the less fortunate persons there who are dying and can't afford their hospitalization. Help them with their needs but not with money until their recovery.);

5. Buy some agricultural lots in our province;

6. and the balance, ...Time Deposit a certain amount of money for each of my kids and think of another business.

217M is so much to spend. I would definitely share my winnings to an orphanage and charitable institutions.

Build a big house and buy a car for my family. And treat them for a world tour.

Invest in real estates and food business.

And I would treat all the Yappers here! I would set up a venue where we would get together. All expense paid for those who comes from other provinces. Air fare, hotel accommodations and a pocket money. How about that? Hehehe

I don't know. It'll have to take a lot of time to let my winning sink in. Of course, the first step would be to make a plan, which company and what kind of business to invest in. Maybe I'll have to expand my present business. Then, put up 3 branches, one for each child. Then invest in stocks. Give sizable amounts to my children, my husband and my siblings. Open a time deposit for my 2 grandchildren for their future schooling. Deposit some for my own retirement. And the rest...go on a world tour with my family. At least, I get to enjoy precious time with them which I seldom do at present. What a dream! The only think lacking to make my dream come true is to buy a ticket. lol!
