I'd retire in your country, and help the many children I see begging on the streets to get a good education, and food in their stomachs.

Well, due to taxes, $150 million will turn into $75 million.

With my money, I'll buy a house here in my hometown of Dallas, Texas, and another house in Davao, in the Philippines because that is where my gf is from.

I'll use the money to live very well for the rest of my life.

MAGpie
I will put up a scholarship fund for the poor but deserving students from elementary to college.

I will make the charity ward of PGH a thing of the past.

First I would help myself and immediate family. Next are the first cousins who see me on a regular basis and have never treated me like a walking ATM.

Next I would spend at least 10% on projects my church feels is important and do it in a way that only the father of the church and the cardinal know where the money came from.

What's left goes into the bank , reserved for future generations.

? viena ?
50% i will put on trust fund for my children.
rest i'll buy my dream lake house and the rest i'll invest to a first aircraft propeller/engine shop in the Philippines for my husband so he don't have to go oversea to work :) wonder if Aref can be our analyst :)

ScarletRaven
I will, first of all, buy that new cellphone that I had been obssessing over for the past two months.

Then I'll buy a huuuuge house, spot cash, so we can finally stop amortizing.

I'll buy four cars, one for each member of my family.

Donate some to my favorite charity.

Go on a wild shopping spree in Hongkong or Malaysia.

Go to Japan and ransack all the anime/manga I could get my hands on.

Then deposit the rest into the bank for future use. :D

First--I would lock away my lottery in a safety deposit box. Then I would contact the Jewish Foundation ( I am not Jewish), to assist me with placing my ticket in a trust and having the trust win the lottery. Doing this I can essentially set up a number of asset protection mechanisms to maximize my control over the money and minimize my taxes. The Jewish Foundation can assist anyone with any amount of inheritence or lottery ticket in donating the money through trusts so that they can essentially control the cash even after their death with stipulations.

After that I wouldn't spend a dime or change a thing in my life for 6 months to adjust.

Then finally, after getting advice from the Jewish Foundation, I would set up my own vision for managing the money that yielded growth, protection, enjoyment, and community donation to the causes I belived in.

Not in particular order:

1. visit every country and I mean every country in the world
2. build a new house for each of my two brothers
3. build a new house for me
4. build a new house for my parents
5. buy a new car for everyone in my immediate family
6. invest in a business for profit
7. build a foundation for homeless animals in the Philippines

I will certainly donate them to WELL to make his $2.8M - $152.8M. That will make his noble deeds reach more impoverished FIlipinos.

I would buy bullet proof vests for every police dog in our country, also the booties that the rescue and cadaver search dogs wear.

Make a few improvements to the house. Treat myself to a long vacation. Invest the rest. Life wouldn't change much. I would still keep my job. I know many people would quit their jobs. But I love mine and the people I work with. But knowing that I CAN, in a angry rage tell managment "I quit!" and storm out anytime is a luxury in itself that not many people have. That in itself is luxury enough for me, should I ever win that much money.

I'm actually not in the Phillipines, which is the category of this question. But I thought it was an interesting question to answer. I'm actually an American living in Los Angeles.

Mr.Knowitall
I'm gonna buy a resort/island villa in the Philippines and hook my family there up. I'm gonna have a jeepney limo, pool, water bar, beachfront, boats, maids that I pay well, and maybe buy a hotel or large store for fun.
