I think the closest thing we have compared to India's Taj Mahal is the "Dambana ng Kagitingan" (Shrine of Bravery) in Bataan.
We all know that Taj Mahal was built by Emperor Shah Jahan as a resting place for his most favorite wife Mumtaz Mahal and as a symbol of his undying love for her, while our Dambana ng Kagitingan was built for all the men and women who sacrificed their lives in World War II for the love of this beautiful country.
Both built because of love. Both monumental. Both historical.

We have the Banaue Rice Terraces. It used to be one of the Seven Wonders of the World. It is a manmade rice field stretching to the sky like a staircase made of soil.
It was really splendor and was even considered as the greatest man engineering feat.

If you're referring to tourist spot - the RiceTerraces in Banaue would be it....but if you're referring to a place of worship, it would probably either be Manila Cathedral or Santo Nino Cathedral in Cebu
