Hard to say... as far as the 'big city' is concerned, Manila is the place. For a foreigner, a place like Angeles or Dau near where the old Clark air base might be best, because it's crawling with expatriates... in summertime (which is most of the year), either Baguio or Tageytay might be the best places because they are high and cool.
Personally I prefer Tagaytay because it's only about 50 miles away from Manila and 1800' above the sea with a beautiful view of a volcano island. And ~~~ it's where I live. |

Cebu City, of course...the Queen City of the South. Not much pollution, prices of commodities within reach of the lower and middle class families, traffic not congested, malls, supermarkets, recreation facilities, churches, schools and hospitals are all easily accessible. Resorts and beaches are also within easy reach with world-class facilities and amenities. I think we have all the best in our City. Actually, there's a mixture of the old and the modern in terms of ambiance, architecture and the people of the province. |

Baguio city is the best city in the Philippines for me aside from Angeles City where i live in. i love the climate in Baguio. the people and the tourist spots. also, i love the commodities there. they are cheap. |

Tagaytay. it's cool there & has less pollution compared to other cities. I like its tranquility. it's an ideal getaway for Manilenyos since it's just two hours away from Manila... it is also a conduit to Talisay & other shores... 'tis very much recommended for those who're sick of our stressful lives in the super-urban cities but have little time for travel/going-to-coming-from. :)
if I had gone to as far as Zamboanga, my answer could surely have changed though. :) |
