Nothing wrong with working hard, but if your looking to get rich I think working smart is more important. I think taking a long hard look at your budget is the best place to start and looking at ways to lower your cost of living. I would also talk to financial planners about investing, make your money work for you. Also look at your earning potential. Are you in a profession where the skies the limit or are you in an area that comes up short where money is concerned. Also consider your own happiness. If your doing something you truly enjoy its a lot easier to get up in the morning and actually go to work.

You learn the value of money if you have worked hard for it...i'd rather get riches by pulling my limbs up and through my own sweat rather than getting it the easy way but lose it in a day.

I want to be instantly rich. (I've worked hard enough in the past. Easy money is a welcome blessing for me.)

ViciousVixen

My initial answer - instant millionaire! Always great to instantly get money. But looking at it closely, I think the hard work will give you an appreciation for that money, and you wont be tempted to go out and spend wildly. Look at Paris Hilton for example - she has no idea how lucky she is that she will never want for anything in her life.

work hard to be rich... you'll learn a lot of things in life if you face a lot of trials before getting the point where you have almost what you need and want...

well, although becoming an instant millionaire would be nice, if one were to work hard to become a millionaire, the would feel good about themselves especially with the thought of accomplishing something great.

Well I work hard and I am not rich so I would take the instant rich. The catch to lottery winning is that it has ruined alot of lives. Also some people are just as broke a short time after recieving a inheritance. I wish I could get rich by my own hard work though. My husband and I make 120000 combined and it is still hard to make ends meet.

Of course, to be instantly rich! If that's possible, I'd go for that. I already know how hard it is to earn money since I've been working for years now so even if I get rich in a snap, I'd know how to appreciate the instant money that I'd be getting.

spark2217
Instant millionaire so then i can work to invest the money to make more millions, everybody wins.

i think either would be fun.

It's hard to appreciate money if you do not work hard to earn it. My brother had a bunch of stock given to him when he was about 16 years old. Today all that stock is sold and used to make car payment on his nice Lexus, and thats all he has to show for it. My other brother sold some of his stock and reinvested it into other stock and is now buying his second home. He drives a Honda civic, but is worth about 100 times more than his younger sibling. He work 50 hour work weeks and is always putting his money away or investing. Eventually he will get to where he doesn't have to work anymore, while the younger brother will have to work until he dies.

heartburn
instantly rich, that is why i always play the lotto

lavenderedolphinluvermashimaro89
For me, i prefer to work hard to be rich than instantly rich because it is more challenging and you cannot explain the feeling if you really work hard.. It is like fruit of your labor. If you will be rich without any challenge, it is worthless.

RedRose
Instant millionaire by marrying an old millionaire man. lol
Working hard to earn your millions is a better sweet rewards. Anything that we do and work hard for ... always last long and sometimes forever.

Working hard to be a millionaire will make it less tempting to give away money to relatives who only want to share in your good fortune by receiving gifts from you.

Work hard and then instantly rich

had these thoughts lately, lol. if i'd be instant millionaire? dam* it'l never happen, but if it will, it'd be fun for a while cause i know all i'd do is shop and be all over the globe. if id work to be one? still cool but i think i'd be a different person already since most of the successful person have tendencies of changing cause for sure their life and plans concerns more on how to be more rich than just being one for the day which is more youthful and fun.
