depends on what you need for the money.
that's equivalent to more or less than $120
but that's how much my 1 bedroom 1 bath apartment in the Phils. cost. not including utilities. |

Minus the deductions that's more or less the average* take-home monthly minimum wage.
*average monthly minimum wage since minimum wages differ per region in the Philippines |

enough to pay for a studio type apartment's rent for a month..enough for a college student's monthly expenses for food and fare..
enough for a 6-member family to survive..
enough for a dad or a mon to provide food, city services but rent or other expenses not included.
basically, for just one person. yes it would suffice. but for a family, they have to thrive on that very low budget but still enough to keep them from going - for a month. |

It is, if you're a wage earner and you live in the barrio, and you're not renting anything. However, if you're a wage earner in a big city and you have a two-member family, you would barely make ends meet.
At present where P49= $1, that roughly translates to $132.65 |

nope. thats like going out clubbing for 4 consecutive nights. hehe.
seriously though it really depends on one's lifestyle. If a really poor person have this amount of money its already a lot. This is about the amount of minimum wage...still not too much if you come to think of it. |

It's about 112 US$. If you are a tourist and wanted to have a nice hotel room, that would probably get you by for 2 days.
But if you will not spend a single Peso for your accommodation, you can perhaps stretched your money for at least 4 - 5 days. That is of coarse, you only have to eat in small restaurant and with non-fancy meals. |

It is a very small amount of money even to the poor ones. It is just food-money for school for two kids or 4 at most per month. |

I don't think so... Some of the Filipinos who can afford it's just a small amount but to those who are in need it's too much. So it really depends on your lifestyle. (--,) |
