Is General Election in Malaysia really CLEAN, FREE and FAIR?

Allow me to say something. Being an American living in Malaysia the past 3 months, the people i met so far has voiced their dissatisfaction towards the government. Even the Malays whom i've known since my stay here are not happy with their governments actions especially corruption. The wealth has never reached according to them. It is monopolied by the governments people. My chinese and indian friends are absolutely against this government for the discriminations they are faced.

We in America were discriminative too towards the native Americans but we always practised the best man gets the job policy and the best students get into universities. That is not the case here. Everything goes by preference here. I think
the 2 street demonstrations in Kuala Lumpur speaks for itself. People will get fed up and the country will one day become like Pakistan and middle east if the people's dissatisfaction are not addressed. What is the point of being a developed nation if the Chinese, Indians and other minorities are discriminated.

Malaysians will see the biggest vote splits in their election history i believe, if the government is clean with the election process. Most of my malay friends prefer Anwar/Anuar, my chinese friends prefers Mr. Lim and the indians said they will not vote any of the governments representative.

Malaysia is living in a dream of its own.

Obviously not. In a democratic country, it is not possible for one party coalition to dominate elections since independence (50 years in the case of Malaysia). As in other phony democracies, whenever it looks as though a new party has a chance of claiming power, the leaders are arrested and disqualified from elections.

there are 5 million eligible voters that are not required to register for voting , maybe for others they tends to see hanky panky in the paid monthly commission officers not doing their works
