Too common!
Go for something that is quite unique. Try to hit the dictionary/thesaurus and choose an adjective that would best describe how you guys are as a band.
I like this dance group called JABBERWOCKIES. They are said to be the best dance crew in the US.
**Jabberwocky -- meaningless speech or writing.**
A word not commonly used (though I use a lot =P). Meaningless in speech and/or writing but their DANCE move IS something!
They are managed by Randy Jackson...but they are still dancing gods in this era....next to Philippine All-Star! =D
Hope this helps. |

I dont GET why so many people get thumbs down.
The name is bland, not unique, too common.
The truth hurts but you wanted our opinions, so there ya go. |

You should choose a unique one. Choose a name / word that is not very often used. As unique as Imago, Eraserheads, Kamikazee, etc. Try to browse a dictionary. =) |

Too overused. There are so many bands with the word "metro" in them, and I'm pretty sure there are mutliple bands with just "metro" already.
Get creative. |

I am not sure of the kind of music you create or play. However the name sounds quickie, cheap, too common devoid of something unique and creative.
It's the new year, sleep later, brainstorm some more and when you wake up simply, do something nice to your fellow men and you should be able to think of something magical and good in your name quest. |

Like Metro magazine... Metro Bar and Restaurant... isang metro... kilo-metro...metrosexual.... sorry. Although it could be band name still it doesn't have that unique sound, unless your music can compensate for it. Good luck with your band! |

Metro to me is a word related to a highly urbanized city like the Paris' metro subway and Metro Manila. If I hear Metro Band, first thing that would come in my mind is that it is an urban band or a band with members who probably met and play gigs at the metro. If the metro has a significant meaning on how you guys are formed, then it's good, otherwise brainstorm for another band name. |

Like what everyone said, it's too popular. Metro doesn't sound good to me anymore. And I might just forget you over time or confuse you with some other band - all because of the band name.
Try something catchy and somehow unique, and at the same time, something which reflects who you guys are or what kind of music you play. |
