I got one for saying 2 points and another one for answering in complete detail a history question.
I'll probably get another one for this answer! (I know it won't be you Chuck.)

The way I see it... the day we start giving a damn about those violations, is the day those trolls succeed.

Oh yes, I do get those too. How many? Let's just say more than my fingers...and yes, I have been appealing them lately coz I don't want yahoo to think I'm guilty. We all know we don't deserve this carp (deliberately spelled wrong) we're getting. ewww

This is how I look at Y!A...it's a big international park...and YAP is my favorite spot in that big park. YAP is my chosen playground and I'd be a bigger fool if I let anyone bully me out of my own turf. me and my mahal think that violation notices are being sent out coz ppl report the so-called violators, but most of us know that we get reported only coz these ppl want to make our lives here at yap difficult coz maybe they don't have a life. phew! that was one long sentence but you all know what i mean. i've had 4 notices since 11 may and i've appealed 2 of them.

but being cloned was no picnic. i now know exactly how binibini felt. that was way below the belt.

i just want to thank everyone who supported me during my personal nightmare. and if i get violated for this response, i'd take it. just so you know i'm grateful for your friendship and concern.

Knock on wood. The first (and hopefully the last) time was when I posted a Q invited you guys to a party for my cousin's (Inday) birthday. I got a violation notice for that (which I chose not to appeal). But that was well worth it.

since may 20, i've had 6...yeah, i guess my brand of humor (aka naughtiness) rubs some people (i.e., those with dry humor) the wrong way so I get reported quite often...the latest violation was that question about dinner here at YAP - and i even added that it's tourism-oriented coz it showcases the great filipino cuisine...well, well, well, if that's the way yahoo thinks about our cuisine, then they can just all go to their graves hungry!!! i didn't appeal any of these violations coz it's not worth my precious time...i'd rather chase boys in my spare time...go nena go

I have had a few & what I gather you have to make your question sound like a question if its not a question it will get deleted especially if some twit reports you so have it like a question

thankfully only once which is fair enough having violated by answering in all Tagalog with no English translation.

i'm sad at how people can have fun unjustly reporting others and getting a high when accounts are deleted. The meaning of being at Yahoo Answers is totally lost to them.

I had my share of violations. No definite answers but it seems because of additional details saying hi/hello to answerers, thank you ________ etc. For all my violations, no specific answers were given. I tried appealing once but was turned down with no (again) specific violation. I was referred to the guidelines again.

I agree that I may violated some regulations but I was hoping I will get the specific reasons, for me, not to commit the same mistakes again.

I got two violations, one is for answering in complete tagalog (filipino) and then one is answering in a question form..

i got 4 in the last week and maybe i deserved it on one, but my other answers were harmless.
One of them, they asked what is your nationality and I said half Thai and half Brit and i got a violation for that. or for saying huh? or 2 points.

See? It's not because you got violations or your Y/A account got deleted because you violated something but it's because we are victims of trolls attack and the Yahoo team made mistakes by deleting wrongfully our Qs and As. What do you think the 'Appeal a violation notice' are for?

Y/A Admin admitted they made mistakes also so I hope the gremlin and its trolls will get back to its senses and quit bragging too much coz it will eat its words and might choke up with its baloney real soon.

I got several violations. I just reply back to Yahoo and explain my side. And it seems all of my answers are being given thumbs down even though I know it is good enough. People here does not like being reminded that this is a Philippine travel category.
