My personal opinion is that when Ginang Marcos was buying shoes Hillery would have loved to of been the shoe shop. Obama gives me the impression he is a people person and would not strip the Phils of it's natural resources as so many "old school" politicians have. Also Hillary was not mad at Bill for what he did, she was mad at him for getting caught. The Philippines and it's people get it's strength from friends and families. The Obama family is far and away more appealing on that front. As for the republican candidates and the political party as a whole. I think we have chewed that gum 'til all it's flavor is gone. More of that and everyone in the Phils better move to Bagio as greenhouse warming melts the ice-caps. This come from someone who voted republican in the last eight elections. |

Well to me it's like a battle between only 2 contenders because of so much media hype they are getting, Obama and Clinton seems to a be an equal match in terms of different ways, but in my opinion as a Filipino, I think we will benefit more if the US have hilary for president because of former ties the Philippines has with Bill Clinton, but the way I see the fight as of now, Obama is edging a lil bit because He is somehow more charismatic than Hilary, well lets just see if America is ready for a black president. either way this could be a history in the making |

one doesn't have to be an american to get interested in the present US elections. the democrats primary is especially interesting. if the democrats win the elections, then america would have its first black, or woman president. either way, it shows that success and power now comes regardless of race and gender. |

i'm split between clinton and obama. clinton would be representing the women. it's about time they had a female president. however, look at all the scandals she and her husband face.
obama is a good choice, too. at least, the african-americans would have a say on issues. |
