that China is not religion country ,every body listen to me ...about 90% of the population in China dont believe in any religion or God ....and the rest 10% believe in religions of Buddhism,Christianism,Islam ,Taoism etc....
and i also know that most of Indian ppl think Chinese r allllll Buddhists ,,thats also totally wrong :) |

China is a Communist (and therefore atheist) country, although there are doubtless millions of religionists there. Confucians, Buddhists, Taoists, Christians and Muslims all have SOME adherents within the borders of China. I know that there are some Christians recognized because of news articles concerning Vatican disapproval of the appointment of a Chinese Archbishop by some agency of the Chinese government. |

Most people have no religion. The state does not like it. But Chinese people are culturally Buddhis or follow Confusious or Lao Tse. Although they have no bad feeling about Chrisians and I have been to many churches in china.
Mostly they are very curious about Christianity, just like westerners are often curious about Buddhism. |
