I'm ignoring this question to gain bliss...the same with the rest of the other questions that I've ignored, so I am a blissful man...does this sentence make any sense to you Bean, cos' it sure doesn't make any sense to me though it sounds technically correct?

LimC
Sometimes. My dog is so happy coz he's abit c2pid.

Legendary Frog!!

uh huh.......not for me.

wings4shoes
YES! of course.

One of the most missed memories as a kid is being able to believe that I could be anything I dreamed up as an adult.

Finding sanctuary
Yes. Think, if you had a daughter, and someone told you, and you with absolute truth, that you would kill her in some way, wouldn't that be horrible? I would rather not know that. Ok, a harsh example, but it makes my point.

By using your better judgment to determine which information you wish to "block"/ ignore from letting it hurt you=P

Col B
Thats a very relative question indeed. Would it be bliss not knowing that your beloved wife/partner is having affairs behind your back for years? Would it be bliss having a tumor growing inside you, slowly turning malignant and never knowing about it? Would it be bliss lovingly bringing up your children into a world that was headed for calamity in the shape of a comet hurtling towards the earth from millions of miles out in space?
No matter how hurtful or how ugly it may be, the truth is better to be known than to be hidden behind ignorance. Where there is truth, there is always an honest answer.

Roman
If knowing the truth will be devastating, yes.

Sometimes I think that is true. Knowledge is power. With power comes an awesome responsibility. But unfortuantely, what you don't know CAN hurt you.

Shah
At times, it can be.

Mickeytopdog
depends on what you are ignorant of. If someone is cheeting on you then it is not bliss. but if it is something your boss wants you to do then ignorance can be really cool not to mention convienent.

kathy w
yea .. thinking about what people critic about u will result in low self esteem..

juz ignore la.. do ur own business.

Emman
i think you got this from a peom right? Black ice. i think it is depended on the kind of people you are take about some poeple make it like that and dont plan to change, just look at your peer. some people do not know when they are been ignorant so they are happy doing it because they think they are doing something better, but if you confront them about they they at ignorant about so it depends who and how you see. for me it is

brkshandilya
Like many such other things, ignorance can be a bliss, unless and until it begins to hurt and harm us.Like poverty is also a bliss till we experience the benefits of wealth and resulting comforts and luxuries.

das ist good!
I think so, unfortunately.

Bart S
How would I know? :-)

I think a lot of people do believe that 'what you don't know can't hurt you', but it's a falsehood. Knowledge is power!

Codynova
Yes, and here is why in my case. If you have a job and don't know anything all there is to do is learn. Once you know what is going on you start to see all the mistakes going on around you and it drives you crazy.

Cherry
not so..depends..

theresagarfield
maybe. but half the world is sleeping, half the world's awake. =)

When you have all the money and power in the world, then being ignorant is expected. But if you're an ordinary laymen trying to make ends meet, then you can't afford to be ignorant.

It depends on many aspects and what is being ignored.
