Is it common to see in the Philippines?

I'm an American born pinoy currently in the Philippines I have seen so many people and couples in flip flops to people using there toes to pick up items, I was in a jeepney when I saw this male turn around the wallet half way out of his back pocket when I saw this other filipino stretch his leg on the seat toward the passenger and with his feet pull the wallet out. I'm totally speechless on what I have seen is this me or this just reality and normal to see in the Philippines

Are you just making up some stories or just got that from your imaginative friend?

Pick-pocketing should be done fast and not in slow process that you mentioned. Imagine, pulling out the wallet at full view of other passengers, totally exposing his leg? That's a blather!

I can do whistling while brushing my teeth, do you believe that?

Marvin: aka "The Man"
Yes it is common to see in the Philippines. Most of the people there can see just fine. A few of the people there are blind.

JUST THE FACTS
Thats very mellow in contrast to what I saw when I was in the P.I. Sounds like its getting better now.

Ooooooh!!! Can't wait to see something like that! I'll be in Manila in February!

An old friend of mine has a mother from Sorsogon-Sorsogon, and she is reported to be very adept with her toes as well.

sounds like he's got excellent motor skills... how long were his toes though? I'm having difficulty imagining how he did that.

pinoy ako
i can believe some pinoys can do that but i wouldnt say its common. if hes a pickpocket then he has to know tricks.

I was in the Philippines and currently marry to one some of the things mention here I saw as well as well as my wife when she was living there. Maybe the part of the stretching leg maybe he was in close prox or pretended to stretch his legs and maybe there weren't other passengers could be many things but I will not offend anyone by calling them liars and so on without knowing the fact or being there peace!

Super F1 Man
