Malaysian law - it's legal.
Religion says - it's illegal, all religion.
But in Malaysia, you can stay with your non-muslim girlfriend and nobody will care. Don't worry of being arrested or what so over, except for her parents maybe. Other than the parents, there's really nothing to worry about. |

no problem at all. |

If she's non-muslim, you certainly won't have a problem. Even if she was muslim, and you were staying in Kuala Lumpur, you (theoretically speaking) shouldn't have a problem. |

Ok, I get it, she's a non-Muslim Malaysian...
But what's your religion, my lad? If you're a Muslim you will be in trouble if caught.
If both of you are non-Muslims, then it's fine until her parents find out and her dad chases you with a machette:) |

If you are a muslim, your place will be raided by the religious enforcement officers for khalwat. If you are not a muslim, you will be raided by the religious enforcement officers if you live in Langkawi! |

Hey, no problem at all.
Even if she is muslim so what.
As long as both of you are single & available, who the hell care.
Even if she is muslim, as long as both of you not being caught in a private room, they cannot do anything to you.
To be sarcastic : Even if both of you were caught, they cannot do anything to you cause muslim law does not apply to non-muslim.
But the girl will be in trouble. |

No worries. I've danced on both sides of the rope and have never had problems, although when dancing on the dark side I was VERY cautious about my public actions.
"ok ok, you sneak around and come in from the back, when you get here I'll do the same" |

If she "looks" like a Malay (i.e. perhaps she may be a Malay christian from Sarawak) you could get some nosy religious fanatic tipping off the "authorities", and then a late night visit from Allah's Avengers.
If neither of you are Muslim of course, then the only tears shed will be those of the frustrated frolic-spoilers, having been denied the opportunity to compel you to comply with what they believe.
A lot will depend upon WHERE you intend to carry out this nefarious nocturnal nonsense. If it's in a Kampong in Kelantan, then expect an advisory correctional visit sooner rather than later. If it's in a Kondo in KL you'd be very unlucky if anything happened.
But, as others have pointed out, all other things need to be equal. You can't legislate for the potential ire of a fond father who senses his daughter's honour is at risk. |

Although she's not, but you are a Muslim, then there are chances you could get caught by those nosy authorities. |
