the philippines is a great place to visit for its beaches, rainforests and other gifts of nature. resort, transport and souvenier item prices come cheap, too. best feature of all are the warm, hospitable and friendly pinoys/pinays.

It is very beautiful. The hospitality of the people is amazing. Shopping is amazing as well. There is alot of poverty inter mixed with the wealth. But it is what it is. If you get an opportunity to visit the province you must go. Time seems to stand still in the province. It is wonderful. Baguio is very nice and the temperature is cool.

I just got back two weeks ago. I stayed with wonderful people in the burbs of Manila for 7 days and went to Boracay for the other 3. I would suggest that if you know someone there, it will be a great experience. At times I recognized my helplessness with the language barrier.

Did you hear that there are 7,107 islands? Did you know that there are beaches that are world-renowed?

There are very nice tourist spots here in the Philippines...I know when you get in the Philippines you will surely enjoy because of the warm welcome you will get from the people and the nice and relaxing places...

Don't go to Boracay its over crowded.
Best options are Palawan and Cebu.

yup! come on over and enjoy the pinoy hospitality, fine beaches and tourist spots! beaches to relax in, for water sports, diving, marine adventure, backpacking, mountaineering, island hppoing, hiking and camping, shopping, partying, food tripping, camera-whoring, etc!

If monetary funds for you is not a question, please go to the different regions in the Philippines before coming to Manila or Cebu. You can go to Amampulo or El Nido in Palawan, etc.

hello! being from the philippines, i can say that it's pretty nice here. aside from the corruption and some crimes. it still has many nice tourist spots. Filipinos are very hospitable especially the iones who live in the provinces. if you want some rest and recreation it would be better if you go to Boracay, Palawan, Bohol, Cebu even Batanes is a nice place if you want to know more about the culture and history you can go to Laguna (rizal shrine), Vigan (old houses), Cebu and Intramuros coz it's nearer.
