Yes, it is socially wrong to kiss in public in the provinces. You should always kiss on the lips or cheek, never the provinces :-)

If it is a friendly kiss that you would give an old aunt when you ran into her on the street no. If it is an open-mouth spit-swap that makes bystanders yell "get a hotel room" then the answer is yes that is wrong. Being in the provinces shouldn't make much difference.

yes. i'm a girl and i live in the province most of life and i will not get caught kissing in public. mostly because in town everybody knows you and most elders are the extension of your parents.

unless of course they already know you as a "wild child".

In America it is not socially wrong to kiss in public anywhere, in the Philippines I am not so sure. If you don't know if it is ok then don't take the risk. Besides public displays of affection are sometimes kinda weird lookin even in the U.S.A. Like why are they doing that in public, a quick kiss is probably ok but not much else. You don't want to make other people uncomfortable.

and in some Asian countries it really undecent and vulgar..
unlike maybe in America or other countries its normal and okay

well ryan to put this in propoer perspective kissing & other forms of public display of affections varied form people to people but it is more prevalent in metropolis areas than people who really grew out in the province but whether she approve of such what matters is both of you knows too well that love is there.

Yes and respect their social norms if you can. Remember you are not in your own country so if u have a plan to kiss ior whatever in a public better behave coz not all Filipinos are nice for rude people.

It is socially wrong in the Philippines, however, if your girlfriend really loves you she will get a kick out making out with you in public and the taboos associated with it.

No. there's nothing wrong kissing in public in the provinces. it depends on the type of kiss you're giving. if you just kiss on the hand or forehead that is totally fine. If you tongue or french kissing there's STILL nothing wrong but its all up to you if you and your gf can stand the evil eyes from the people around you. They're not use to seeing people kissing especially in the provinces.

But dont' you know that Philippines break the world record for the most number of couples simultaneously kissing in public?
