chinese give chinese cheaper. malay give malay cheaper. indians give indians cheaper. i really wish that malaysia would be a place where people would respect and treat each other nicely, regardless of races and religions. sudah fed up. kadang2 orang yg sibuk cakap pasal discrimination are also racist themselves. we need some serious brain cleansing. |

All I know is the Chinese have to pay extra 5% to buy a house while Malay get discount. Isnt it institutional discrimination all in the name of special rights? What a hypocrite! |

I think generally most traders are honest enough, though there may be some cases of charging higher for the posh and well heeled types. Race is not an issue, status is. |

If so..it's maybe due to halal issue.Maybe malay have to pay higher for the halal service they get.But that's just my opinion.. |

I dun see anything wrong with supporting ur own race.. honestly, everyone does this.. not only chinese.. like, some Malays only buy from Malays, some chinese only buy from chinese, some indians buy from indians only..

The 3 races discriminate the prices when diferent races buy things from them..I am also one of the victim when eating banana leaf rice or buying nasi lemak. Why? Cos I tested it myself eg when a malay buy nasi lemak from a malay, i will see how much is theprice he/she is paying and I buy the exact thing but got charged higher?!?! And the funniest part is after a week or two, you got a different price with the same purchase ..funny huh? |

When comes to trading, all races help each other.
When comes to (gang) fighting, all races whack each other. |

Malaysian chinese... let's not generalise on all Chinese because not all Chinese are same... Some are good, whereas some are down right racist.
This can't be help, Chinese had been working very hard to build this country we all call Malaysia.
Just to get a second class in this country. Their reason is we work in Malaysia just to feed our family in mainland China.
For god sake, there are just generalising all Chinese.
So in the Constitution Part 153 says about the special status that the Malays and bumiputeras held. Non bumiputera like us basically got speciality. No special biasiswa, no discount for being NON-MALAY for this and that.
So after so many years some had grown out of it but some still thinks it's a discrimination.
But to be honest...
All traders regarless of race are equally selfish, what's bussiness if there are no profits.
There are no such things as racist in bussiness,
But I do agree that the Malay has a long way to go in managing bussiness. |
