I've always thought that summer days in the Philippines are so doggone hot! And then I experienced Houston's wickedly hot summer days and suddenly, I was wishing I'm back home!!! Back in the Philippines, we survive summer months without the comfort of air-conditioned homes and vehicles. Here in TX, that's an impossibility. It's not only uncomfortable, it's downright unhealthy. |

I went back to the PI last year during summer. I was sweating like a pig, while i was sitting outside my grandmother's porch. I think I spent most of my time going to the mall, because they had AC lol!! |

During summer, Philippines is really hot. Temperature reaches to 34 degrees Celsius. But the weather changes especially if there are typhoons coming. But that is just sometimes. |

Depends where you're going, sweetie. A trip to Baguio or Tagaytay means similar weather conditions to that of countries in temperate zones, e.g. the U.S. Elsewhere... meh.
There are only two seasons in the Philippines and in other tropical countries as well: sunny and rainy. The rainy season is the longer, and it lasts from at least May to at least mid-February. Expect typhoons. Or as you call them, hurricanes/cyclones (LOL depending on where you're from). It's generally cold, especially during December to February.
Summer months are usually from March to mid-May. Now that global warming is upon us, it's hella hot, even hotter than in past years. It's not in your best interests, generally speaking, to go out between 11 am - 4 pm, because even then the heat can fry eggs. Aaand... it's not good to move around a lot either. I suggest you spend your summer afternoons in the Philippines either at home or at the malls. :D
That said, I hope I've helped. :) |

Thats very subjective. Bring a sweat rag. Most places are always in the 80's with high humidity. In the dead of winter (December) raining, at night, it might get down to the mid 70's but the humidity is still 99%. So, when the Filipinos are putting on sweaters and jackets at 75, I'm still looking for something else to take off. The air conditioners there are not much more than a noisy motor device in a metal box that may or may not blow any air out. That air will be the same temperature as whats outside the window. The good news is....after about 2-3 months, you get used to it |

You can always get the latest weather at www.starburst-and-honeyband.com.
I have never been when the high is less than 88 and the low is lower than 75. It's like any other place though - once you have been there a few days if you are like me, your body adapts. |

Depends on where you are going.....and where you have been
I live in Dumaguete City.... the temperature never goes over 100.....and rarely under 90...... I find it very pleasant.....then I came from the Arizona desert ( 110)......there are places here that do get a little chilly..... if you tell us where you are headed it might help us .....help you |

Weather is going to change depending upon region. Normally it is the collest in the Philippines from October through early March. Towards the middle of March it gets warm and starts to cool down in September.
See Philippines weather link for current temperatures.

The Philippines has a tropical marine climate dominated by a rainy season and a dry season... The summer monsoon brings heavy rains to most of the archipelago from May to October, whereas the winter monsoon brings cooler and drier air from December to February... |

the temperature here in manila is around 30-34 degrees celsius if summer. Sometimes it is up to 35 or even 36 degrees celsius (very hot!)
but now, it's raining almost everyday so it's not that hot.
maybe the temperature now is ranging from 30-24 degrees |
