Money gives you mobility; to do the things you want to do that in turn provide some kind of satisfaction or pleasure for you.
Even churches and temples seek donation (not jam jars and crock pots) to build bigger premises.

Depends on whether you live in Tuavalu or a developed country. Money buys education. Not necessarily one's own money, but certainly one's community's, or charity. So, I'd have to say yes, in that case. The amount of money, however, is a relative thing, though, isn't it? There are those who aspire to being able to afford in an apartment in a less crime-addled neighbourhood, and there are those who believe they would finally be happy if they could afford a new luxury car, and those who will never have enough. I have a theory that, in the end, each rung up in the financial ladder only makes one aspire to the next level. |
