Not really... maybe yes but still all the things you need and want are not completely available... somehow you have to sacrifice something... |

'The other shore always seems greener' is the actual proverb. It contains NO reference to any 'grass' !
As the 'other shore' would be rather distant, this quotation might even refer to an optical illusion caused by the sun and shade !
...Since a mere fence might, at most, just be a few feet, yards, or metres, away, the chances of grass 'on the other side of the fence' appearing 'greener' - either categorically, or metaphorically - are next to nil ! |

NO!!!! It's a trick of light and reflection and mirrors!!! Do not be fooled. |

Mowed the grass today. Looked at both neighbours' grass and have come to the conclusion that both of them can certainly say 'the grass is greener on the other side of the fence' |

No. My neighbor has no grass, all concrete. I still have grass in my lawn. |

No, it's not. And I don't want to venture out, I'd better stick to my side of the fence where I know I am safe, where I have everything I need in my life. The other side might offer something more but, I don't want to take the risk and gamble into the unknown. |

I don't know if it's greener, but I've heard that "grass" from Jamaica can take you places only found in fairy tales. |

Put it this way, try to go to the other side of the fence and see for your self, and you will realize that its just the same... just harness the potential that you have and your surroundings too... |

We have water rationing so I asked the Gardner to dig the grass out. So now there is a fence with bunch of dirt on the other side.
But to answer your question, NO! |

NOPE....i water my lawn just as much, if not more than they do on the other side, therefore my grass is just as green, maybe greener. |

compared to where i came from? i would say yes. but the greener the grass, the more the cows, carabaos, and goats that eat it. and everyone just seem to love lying down on the greener pastures. none wants to have the least. |

Usually not. But we think it is. It is like my cat if the door is shut he wants to be on the inside, once there, he wants to be on the outside, go figure! |

I personally suffer from a mild case of kainophobia, meaning I have this strange fear of new things or events. I'd rather stick to what I'm familiar with, lest I venture off and realize too late that the grass isn't really greener on the other side. ^_^ |

That is the perception. But the grass is not always greener on the other side.
Rather, turn the liability into a possibility, thus making an opportunity from the liability. |

The common saying is grass greener on the other side...have you ever turned grass over? |
