Some features of my ideal dream house are now existing and some features are about to come in the next generation. I'd like a house with glass exterior walls, air-conditioned with high efficient thermal insulated ceilings and walls and with emergency back up power generator situated in large green lots that is built into high technology such as:

- wifi internet anywhere inside the house
- electronic armed security
- ip camera installed in high risk places of the house
- equipment and appliances controlled electronically via remote device
- motion detecting lights
- motion detecting interior doors (sliding swiftly)
- verbal commands in using the appliances via artificial intelligence computer.
- centralized solar powered equipment and appliances
- centralized wireless intercom and can be connected to external communications devices.
- an aquarium with the frontage integrated in the wall
- equip with facilities such as swimming pool, spa, mini-theater, music/disco room, etc.

yes, with a fishpond, garden, a variety of trees, garage, a large are for the papyrus reeds to thrieve and still enough space for vegetable garden (utilized the wall by hanging it with pots ). The neighbors are also fine, they have their own walls too and the street is not much populated with people but shaded with mango and coconut trees. Only problem is, the "kanals" are polluted and is a breeding ground for mosquitoes. Fish just die in there.

No and it's not evan close. I live in the "family house" because neither of my brother in laws want to assume responsibility for the house and it's bills nor my niece and nephew living here with us that were abandoned.

My dream retirement house I had built in a nearby nice subdivision is now a rental because my wife wants to live here in the family house. It needs extnesive remodeling and the archetects seem to have been Curley, Moe and Larry. lol

2 storey house on 120 sqmtrs of property. No yard at all and no parking. In a busy crowded area near a college with lots of boarding houses all around. No, I am not happy at all with this place and only live here because I love my wife.

No, because I want to have a house with small garden. And also a spacious bedroom to put all my books and computer to be surrounded by hanging plants to supply me with more oxygen.

No, not really, but this is where I grew up so it's become a home for me and I don't want to be anywhere else but here.

However, if I'd have my own way, I want a simple house... painted with white, with a little garden in front and a wide backyard with a swing...also, just like our house, the grounds should be well-covered with bermuda grass and where everything looks green...

no. the house i currently live in is not my ideal house yet... but come march next year, i will be moving to my dream house, which i will call a home already. i build this house through "sweat and blood" for 3 years now and i'm excited to move-in soon.

thanks for asking.

While I am comfortable where I stay, it is not my dream house. I want to live in a house I built myself. I have a design for a house where my bedroom flows into the living room. The bathroom is outdoor, no walls, but no one will see us because the property will be on a cliff. I want a house that blends with its natural setting.

nope. my dream house would be one with an attic. a big one and with a small porch facing the west (so i can watch the sunset), enough to put a small coffee table and two chairs. one for me and one for my "eherm". it has a dirty kitchen connecting the main kitchen with a breakfast nook. a small garden inside (lanai) so i would still be in touch with mother nature even if i'm inside my house. two dogs. one cat (maybe). and maybe even kids, in the future. that's my house. i'm starting to build it now. i already have a kilo of 4" nails. it will be erected in about 20 years from now.

Mrs.C
Yes that's why I keep it squeaky clean.

No, it isn't. In fact, it is very far from what I had in mind - from what I consider my dream house.

I would have wanted a small house with a big garden. Not that the house I am living in is anything big however, it does not have a big lawn. I wanted a larger space to plant all the flowers I love and have enough room for my grandchildren to play in. I want a bungalow type of house, 2 or 3 bedrooms, a living room, a dining area, a kitchen and a dirty kitchen at the back of the house for daily use. Then, there would be a laundry area, a maid's quarter and of course, a garage.

Mr. Kabayo
to answer your question plainly, NO, just a normal house will do, even a typically Philippine house would be fine

convenience wise my home is good. I have 2 balconies with sliding glass doors, the big balcony is my mini garden and has garden chairs that never been seated, the small balcony which is adjacent to the master bedroom has a view from train stations and bus stations. I watch people are rushing in the morning to catch for school & work. It has 2 potted palm trees and hanging plants but sick of the birds are pooing in the veranda bench but hearing these birds every morning yelling on each is like an alarm clock. The shops, medical centre, post office, banks are beyond reach ( 1 minute walk), Wall to wall carpet from dining to lounge room to 2 big bedrooms, granite marble kitchen, tile floor, SPA and modern bathroom, reverse cycle air condition & heater, Blinds and security window. Electronic security doors. On the ground floor is a huge well maintain garden, trees. I have large garage and separate storage room. I own this unit, it's only 30 minutes to city and big shopping centre are along the way, convenient on easy access but I prefer to have a house in my 1/4 acre block of land near to the beach in Central coast and enjoy my lazy day in the sand fishing.
