The world has never been scared of China. China has never threatened to press a nuke button.

Plus in China's history, china has never really gone out and tried to attack anyone.. well.. Tibet/Mongolia but other than that no big thirst for world domination. Have always sucked at war but like to flash a big gun.

China has never cared about the world. It's always been absorbed with itself - ie. center of the universe.

But if you mean scared in the economic sense, sure. The power is shifting to Asia, not just China but India and Vietnam too.

You would only be scared of someone strong, if you assume anyone who's strong will most certainly use that strength to bully the weak. Like vikings plundering wherever they go. That's barbaric. Just because the Europeans did that in the 19th century and the Americans did that in the 20th century, doesn't mean China will do that now. It doesn't have to be that way.

Afraid of them attacking any time some soon no. the thought of what would happen if they did yes. you should never underestimate anyone it a huge down fall.
first off they have a 10 million man army so the can afford to lose a million men. second the have nukes and the technology to send them any where from their on back yard.
thirdly they are dominating economically that means they a lot more money to do what ever they want with.
Fourthly call me crazy but because people don't see them as a threat makes them a bigger threat because you will never see it coming.

Economically speaking, the rest of the world is shitting its pants as to how dependent, they are of China. Its the world's factory, everybody's investing there. Why would china want to attack other countries, you don't shoot your own customers, do you?
