Lets not fool ourselves here. This is reality. Majority of men I know (colleagues and friends) arent faithful. They engaged in either a long term affair with women or one night stand or smses affair or online affair or fantasy affair (in their minds). Those who does not engage in physical activity, do have the intention to do all that. The only thing stopping them was their tiger fierce wives.

either the person is not satisfied with his/her sex life or just plain gatal, dunno how to spend their money....but what goes around comes around, so to all out there, please be faithfull to your parther, yang dah kawin or plan untuk kawin..if u do it now one day your child will do it too...take care and be wise, temptations are all around but the gate to do good is narrow, the gate to do wrong is wide..u pick

No, apologising wouldnt be enough ever to the person you hurt. if you are lucky, you may be forgiven but the damage is done. im inclined to think adultery is not excusable under any circumstances, so is cheating in a pre-marriage relationship. a one-off sexual relationship may be accidental or the so called lapse of judgment but an ongoing one is not a mistake, it is a willed act with intention, regardless of whether it is driven by the heart or the brain. it's plain wrong.

personally i would not "shop around". you may call me a righteous bullsh.it freak, i subscribe to the idea that you should only be with someone when you are serious about it yielding fruitful outcome. it has nothing to do with religion, just my brain.

It's infatuation. When you are in a relationship for awhile you become comfortable with that individual. When you meet someone new you get a rush similar to what you had when you start a relationship. But the feelings are fleeting and unless you have no conscious you will regret having the affair. I've been married 18 years and have never strayed. I avoid potentially dangerous situations and when opportunities do arise I realize I want to the be the man who is celebrating 50 years of marriage to a wonderful woman and not the man who is remarrying for the third time because I wanted what I could get at home. There are plenty of faithful couples out there. You just have to make a decision that you want to be faithful. At the end of the day all you really have is your integrity and if you sell out that what else will you sell out?
