Is there any reward for being a top answerer?

i don't aspire to be at the top in YA but it does feel nice when you have genuinely helped someone who genuinely needs answers

top answerers - all the 10 people who have the most number of BAs in this section...maybe a TC or not

top contributors - all the people with orange badges...a recognition of sorts from yahoo for being active in a particular section as evidenced by their number of answers (& questions) plus maintaining a certain % of BAs in a given time frame. yahoo giveth and yahoo taketh...it's not a permanent thing

monetary reward = zero
non-monetary rewards (like gifts or something) = zero

my take:
non-quantifiable rewards = the knowledge that I have answered a question to the best of my abilities. It takes time for me to answer questions coz I'm mindful of my punctuations, spelling and all the minor details; hence I'm rather picky as to what questions I should answer. I'm not being snotty...it's just that there are some questions that I feel other Yappers are more qualified to answer so I skip those.

If you got the title as the TOP ANSWERER without cheating then you can say "I have accomplished something although is not valuable but atleast I have measure that my IQ or EQ is a little bit higher than normal and that my experiences made me more creative".

But if you got the title through cheating, it's a simple explanation that you are a LOSER.

They seem to be more popular and their answers seem to be picked best most of the time. Some are really good and deserving; others are just so-so. That's just my observation but I really don't know much coz I'm just new here.

None, at least none of any TANGIBLE real life value.

Given that reality, some people here should seriously reconsider their sometimes questionable modus operandi and massive work effort in their pursuit of that goal.

Surely there are more important things to devote your time to without jeopardizing your ethics and values.
