friendster.com is having a system maintenance and upgrading the system.

im trying to look at friendster. viewing their status and found out that their server is having difficulty in connection.

just wait for a couple more days to let the friendster administrator to fix friendster is not hacked, its just a glitch in their system for upgrading some features or adding a feature..

I lost almost 400 friends.. still 2 left.
Now I get invites from some friends ,but when I accept them they still not showing in my friendster's friends list :(

Few friends sent me a comment while I only accept comments from friends.
So, these friends still have me maybe in there friendster coz the comment automaticly accept to my profile.

Wish friendster will come with a message to tell us all what's happened and if our friends will come back to our friendsters list.
Then we know we still haven't lost them and we only should wait.

But, till now, not any words from the friendster team. :(

I haven't logged in for 2 days when i open my account i lost some of my friends. I have 100 friends now it's down to 7.

All of the social web pages have glitches when upgrading i have friendster too but not many friends there so it probably did not affect me. But i think its just a glitch you may have to look those friends up again.

what the hell happened??!!! my friends have been cut down to 3 from 300+! oh great just great friendster. i hope they fix it back or ill go emo. :)

i logged in to friendster a while back and check my profile, i have 350+ of friends, then i logged out, then i check again this time 4:10pm then i only see that i have only like 2 friends??!!! WTH.... last night i cant connect to friendster.... i hope they can fix it soon....

Yeah, they're having problem for 3 days now.
I also encountered same problem as yours and also can't see the bulletin post of my friends i just saw mine. whoa!

hope they can fix it as soon as possible. huhuhu!

Yes, The maintenance team did not make a good job! Maybe one of their staff did sabotage their social networking capabilities.

To the board of directors of FS...Give us a valid explanation within 24Hours of this glitch...

The whole planet is affected..I mean for FS users worldwide...

I haven't logged on to friendster in a long time since everybody is either on myspace or facebook. But I noticed the settings have changed automatically when they upgraded the program. Maybe ur account was hacked or you set it to add friend without notification?? Just cancel account if you are not going to go on for your security.

me too! when i checked my friendster, my friends was cut down to 5.
my other friends too!.

but some of my friends did not get affected by this.

they have this scheduled maintenance thing since yesterday, what i could suggest is to check it/log in again after two days

Hey battgirl, Friendster had a system enhancement yesterday and most of the time the page wasn't found. My story is different, I lost most of my friends on my list. From 400 friends, it was cut down to 100+... WTF?!
I'm checking some of my friend's page today and found this..

Shoot!! I hope they can revert our original pages back.. I know they usually conduct stupid maintenance but this was the first time my page was affected...

i just hope that this will be fixed soon...my 300+ friends became 60.. and just when i clicked a friend on my list, it shows however that we're not connected at all!! (sigh..) it's going to take a lot of time if we have to find our friends and add them up all over again..huhuhu

I updated my answer:

I just logged on to my Friendster account and found out that I had only 6 friends left! (I had 400+ before)! But when I checked out my friend's list, all seems to be in order.

BTW, it might be just a website error...last night, I couldn't access the site at all! The URL just didn't work at that time.

awww.. it's not hacked... friendster.com is having another glitch.. my story was i have 300+ friends then when i logged in i only saw 5..wtf is that?!.. i hope they can fix it.. :]

I don't know wafa. I don't have a Friendster account. But PT asked a similar question yesterday. Maybe you can find some answers there in addition to your answerers here.
