If you click on the "Philippines" link at the bottom part of the page under "Answers International" it just brings you to all the rest of the English questions. Unlike other non English speaking countries who have their own version of Answers, Y/A Philippines is just redirected to the same English questions as UK, US etc.
I tried to "rally the troops" so Yahoo would create a separate server for Y/A Philippines but in retrospect I guess the timing of the question was not good because it was almost a weekend and natabunan na by the time all the regulars came back. I also made the suggestion to Yahoo but I haven't heard from them. Some English users also misconstrued my intent so I left it at that.
So yes, this is considered the Philippines conference room since we do not have a separate one where we can post questions in the "proper" categories. Or at least that's what we, the answers community, made it. |

yeah.. We do not just discuss travel here but anything about the Philippines...
This is where the Filipino spirit is felt when people attack us and this where you can also find Filipinos attacking their fellowmen...
Not all participants are Filipinos. Some are Filipinos, some are Filipinos but they pretend that they are not, some would proudly say that they are part Filipinos, some are non-Filipinos who love the Philippines and some are pranks who just came across Y!A Philippines and give bad answers. |

Not all here in Y/A Philippines are Filipinos. It's nice to know that the foreigners wants to be a part of this category. As long as they/ we won't go beyond the community guidelines.
BTW, warrior is a child got it right. We don't own yahoo. So let's just enjoy sharing our ideas. People, let's just act our age. We are all mature people here, aren't we?

Not all here are locals. There are foreigners who are regular contributors, too. But when everything Filipino became the menu of the day: travel, economy, culture, arts, government, politics, especially politics, They tried the people here to go back to travel questions only, to no avail. They were fed up and were never heard since then. I miss my friends, tequila mike, and tom1944. |

May mga foreigners din na nakikisali (at naggugulo), pero this section is all about the Philippines, either it be about food, culture, politics, etc. Kasi, hndi naman maiintindihan ng ibang YA members kung ididiscuss namin ang pinoy food under food section ng YA kaya dito kami nagsisiksikan :p
